Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating a Postroll account or otherwise using the Postroll website and applications (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@postroll.app if you suspect unauthorised use. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current.

3. Your content

Postroll is a worldbuilding and tabletop-roleplaying platform. You retain ownership of the worlds, wiki pages, characters, artwork, and other material you create ("Your Content"). You grant Postroll a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, and to display it to the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or content that violates another person's rights;
  • attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent the security of the Service or other users' accounts;
  • use the Service to send spam, harass others, or distribute malware;
  • scrape, resell, or bulk-export other users' content without permission; or
  • misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Purchases, subscriptions, and the marketplace

Paid plans and marketplace transactions are billed through Stripe. Subscription fees recur until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Marketplace sales between creators and buyers are subject to the additional terms shown at checkout. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — its software, branding, and design — is owned by Postroll and its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in Postroll's trademarks or technology beyond the limited right to use the Service.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Postroll is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
